Who They Are:
Airlink
How They Began:
Founded by the ISTAT Foundation in 2009, Airlink mobilizes global aviation networks to accelerate disaster response and deliver life-saving relief and aid on behalf of 250+ humanitarian partners.
It launched its first response after a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Port-Au-Prince, Haiti in 2010. Three hundred disaster activations later, it has helped over 80 million people in 100 countries by transporting 8,100 tons of relief supplies and 15,500 emergency and disaster response experts.
Why You Should Friend Them:
Airlink harnesses the speed, power and reach of the aviation industry to help humanitarian organizations reach global locations, including remote communities, up to 50% more quickly – and much more economically.
It works closely with 50+ airline and transportation partners to help humanitarian organizations multiply their impact. Airlink saves them millions each year in operations, $14 million in supply chain costs during 2025 alone, so they can focus on what matters most: reaching families impacted by disasters with lifesaving support.
