Volunteers are some of the most important faces of ALAN. As a non-profit organization, ALAN depends on the support of its volunteer network.
Making sure that the right resources are paired with relief needs is a labor intensive but critical part of our work. While our automated web portal significantly streamlines the donation process, volunteers are needed to examine and thoughtfully consider posted needs.
Most volunteers get involved with ALAN through one of our association member partners. As our volunteer network grows, we plan to work with these organizations to build teams of regional volunteers, ready to step in should disaster strike in their area.
